Generally for standard items you should be looking to pay along these lines with the larger price being the “higher” quality end of the market.

 

 

   Bear in mind that prices will vary depending on what style of armour you want, the quality of the finish, and the manufacturer, but generally you can expect to pay between these prices.

 A good way to buy armour when starting is second hand, as it is always cheaper; but it is a case of "buyer beware".  Feel free to ask for help from a veteran, if you are not sure - as a wrong purchase can be an expensive mistake!
