English Armour

    An English harness was broadly a combination of the two styles, as most of the imported armour from the continent came into England from Flanders and Calais. People learned of the different styles either from word of mouth or fashion (the courtly trendsetters) and liked certain factors from both styles and so requested that armourers combine aspects from both!
